Does Your Parish Know Who You Are?

St. Paul taught us how important the individual story is. He told his story repeatedly.

“Does your parish know your story?”

Telling your story humanizes you. Too many of your parishioners do not realize you are a real person with your own story. Relationships are built not only with trust, but getting to know each other. One form of relationship is that of the leader. The leader needs to be someone trustworthy and knowable.

St. Paul, as a leader, repeatedly shared his story to lessen the gap between himself and those he was speaking with. Does your parish know who you are the same way we know St. Paul?
