Eye contact continues to be an easy habit for me to break, but breaking it is better than staring. Unfortunately, some have taken eye contact too far and turned it into a creepy stare!
Eye contact without a facial expression is incomplete. When making eye contact, the expression should match the thoughts. For example, if someone is saying something confusing, furrowing the brows and pursing your lips plainly communicates confusion.
Or if you agree with the person talking, give a small smile with a little bit of head nodding.
Either way, don’t do the creepy stare!
